There is magic in the street that exists around us in everyday life. The capture of ordinary activities, in the streets of the city, creates illusions where the lines of reality are blurred. Subjects in motion under specific light conditions invoke a flood of emotions from scenes that otherwise would have been unnoticed.

In this work, the emphasis was placed on capturing the interactions between people and their surrounding objects at a split second. The use of abstract patterns emphasizes the constant movement in the city streets. No matter where you look, you are always bound to see some flow of activity.

These twenty four black and white images of ordinary people, capture moments that stimulate the imagination of the viewer to experience an alternate reality.

People are transformed to spirits and are taking the center stage in life scenes from another world. Faces are altered to become mythical creatures, silhouettes are mutated to strange shapes and forms, shadows are provoking awe and fear. The end result is a collection of 24 scenes which generate strong feelings and are open to individual interpretation.
